Celery has an acquired taste. Some people needs some time and perhaps, effort, to get used to it. If you're a fan. good for you! If you ain't, try to like it! Celery is packed with loads of goodies! Celery contains fibre, vitamins, potassium, proteins, minterals, folate, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and is very rich in antioxidants.

Celery is cooling in nature, and has the effect to bring down heatiness and calming the liver, anti-inflammanation and detoxification. It is also good for preventing high-blood pressure. Celery is very rich in digestive fibre. Hence, people with weaker gastric system or digestive ulcers should avoid eating celery, to prevent triggering intestinal tract colic or gastric discomfort. Due to its high content in fibre, celery is every effective to help with constipation and expel toxins from the intestinal tracts. The fibre will also make you feel full. so you won't feel hungry so easily. Celery is also low in calories, hence, it is also often used for weight loss.

There's many ways to consume celery. You can juice it, make it into a smoothie (I prefer this than juicing since we get to benefit from the fibre this way), eat is as a snack raw, add into your salad, fry it, add into soup etc etc etc.
